OWF_Kotsias

My partner and I had to make a video trying to convey a word given to us in class without any dialogue ranging from 60 to 90 seconds long. The only audio we could use is instrumental music, and we had to edit our project by using Adobe Premier or iMovie. We got assigned to depict the word "arrogance."

For our brainstorming, we were thinking of doing a scene about a boy who walks into class confidently, takes a test very quickly, and then starts to make fun of everyone who didn't finish. In the end, he would get his test back with a low score and he would look disappointed. We thought this idea was great until our teacher made us realize that if we added that last part, our word wouldn't seem as "arrogance," it would be seen as "carefree."

Taking this into account, we made the storyboard a little different. Since we got rid of the excess 4 scenes in our brainstorming, it allowed our storyboard to have more detail and this really helped when filming because we knew exactly what to do. We used iMovie to edit our video and we added sound after to give a more arrogant vibe.

Since our substitute teacher in our study hall didn't let us film in the class, we improvised well, and film outside in one of the open classrooms. We also did well with the filming, which really caught everything needed to make the scene feel correct. Next time I would like to manage my time better to be able to have more time to shoot the shots, because this time we were kind of in a rush.

So, since were pretty much done filming, we have decided to use the clips we have and add the other clips later. I am responsible for adding...
